Most Amazon sellers source products from Chinese factories. Once goods leave the factory, there are two options: ship directly to a destination-country prep center, or prep in China before exporting. The second option almost always wins on cost and speed.
Labor cost advantage. Prep work — labeling, poly bagging, bundling — is labor-intensive. Labor costs in South China are a fraction of what you'd pay in the US, UK, or Germany. The same prep job that costs $0.50–$1.50 per unit in a US fulfillment center can be done for significantly less in China.
Eliminate the double-shipping leg. When you prep in China, goods flow in one direction: factory → Rayfill warehouse → Amazon FC. If you ship unprepped goods to a destination prep center first, you're paying for an extra freight leg and adding 1–3 weeks to your restock timeline.
Catch factory defects before export. When Rayfill receives your goods from the factory, we count and inspect as part of our intake process. Quality issues identified at this stage cost almost nothing to fix. The same issues identified at an Amazon FC cost significantly more — or result in the shipment being returned.

We print FNSKU barcodes from your Amazon shipment plan and apply them to each unit. Correct placement, correct size, no obscuring of manufacturer barcodes unless required. Supports all FNSKU formats across US, UK, EU, CA, AU marketplaces.
Products that require poly bagging per Amazon's category rules are sealed in clear poly bags with a suffocation warning label (text printed directly on bag or as a separate label). Bags are sealed airtight. Correct bag thickness per Amazon requirements.
We create multi-packs (e.g., 3-pack, 6-pack) or product bundles from individual units. Each bundle is shrink-wrapped or poly-bagged with a single FNSKU label covering the combined SKU. Counts are verified per bundle against your shipment plan.
Every shipping carton is labeled with the correct Amazon box content label (including ASIN, FNSKU, quantity, and box weight). Carton dimensions and weights are recorded for your shipment plan. Palletizing available for large volume shipments.
When Amazon requires removal or covering of manufacturer barcodes (e.g., EAN/UPC that conflict with FNSKU), we handle this in-house. Manufacturer barcodes are covered with opaque labels to prevent FC scanner confusion.
Before dispatch, we cross-check quantities against your Amazon shipment plan, verify unit counts per carton, and confirm all labels are correctly applied and scannable. Discrepancies are reported to you before the shipment is sealed and released.
